We are saddened by the passing of Jean-Luc Nancy (July 26, 1940--August 23, 2021), one of the most important French philosophers of the second half of the twentieth century. During our residency in Paris in 2018 and again in the summer of 2020, he delivered lectures concerning art, community, ecology, and contemporary society.
