Giuliana Bruno

Giuliana Bruno, Harvard University professor, is the award-winning author of several influential books, including Atlas of Emotion: Journeys in Art, Architecture and Film and Streetwalking on a Ruined Map, and has contributed to major contemporary art publications from the Guggenheim, Whitney, and MoMA. Her most recent book, Surface: Matters of Aesthetics, Materiality, and Media, explores the role of surface and materiality in contemporary art and visual culture.
